Today, I am leaving early from school to go to my Nanna & Pa's place. There is not one house around them that does not have at least 3 or 4 children! They live in Tea Gardens and live in a dead end road. Their house is number 1 and live right at the dead end. The house next to them have 6 children, the mum's name is Trudy, the dad's name is David, the children's name in order from oldest to youngest is: Jasmine, Uminah, Utah, Montana, Dakota and David the little boy! Dakota is my age and we always play together, play spotlight at night, practice our gymnastics on the grass, play with my nanna and pa's dog, Benson, pretend to be little babies without parents or pretend to be dogs our selves, and go around the whole block on our bikes, even their only shop BILO! Just to let you know, they only have one shop and one school! Oh, and, Dakota's oldest sister, Jasmine, is having a baby and she is only like 18 or 19! In the morning at like 5:30, I go out for a drive then walk with my pa and Benson for a warm-up and the beach, maybe even some other kids come with their dogs, but mostly the parents come with their dogs, one more thing I do with Dakota is when my family goes to the beach, she ALWAYS comes with us and, I always go on her trampoline with water spraying so we get wet! After that I will go to Thailand, Phuket. My mum has been buying me all these clothes!!!!!!
Hi Mr Farrelly and Mrs Hayes Tomorow I am going to womberal.there is 2 houses.1 is for Chris and Natasha to sleep in and 1 for the guests.I am staying in the guest room with my family.We are staying for 2 days.We are leaving on Sunday afternoon.There is a farm.They have animals the animals they have is:Chickens,ducks and a bit more.
I went to the Gold Coast with my friends. We went to Movie World and Sea World. When we arrived, my friend's dad organised a limo to take us to the hotel! It was really roomy and cool. It was lots of fun. At Sea World we swam with dolphins and fed them. There was also an awesome roller coaster. At Movie World there was a little roller coaster and there was a log ride that went soooooo steep. It even went backwards!

On the first weekend I drove to Melbourne with a friend to attend another good friend's wedding. It took 10 hours to drive down so we enjoyed lots of different music on our trip and several food stops to keep us going. The wedding was fun and everyone looked wonderful dressed up in their best outfits.
While we were in Melbourne we toured the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the sports museum. It was pretty interesting to hear about the history of the ground. The best part was the interactive section of the museum where you could test your reflexes by throwing and catching balls. You could also race each other on stationary bikes.
The NRL grand final was on while I was in Melbourne so some friends and I went to the casino so we could watch it on a big screen TV. The game was very exciting but unfortunately the Storm beat the Eels :( Oh well, maybe next year!
Later in the holiday break I went to visit my older brother who lives on a farm in northern NSW. My 3 brothers were there as well as my sister and my mum, and they all brought their families. We got together because it was my younger brother's 30th birthday and my older brother's 40th birthday. We had a day full of games with 2 teams competing against each other. We had different challenges to complete which made everyone laugh. My nephews and nieces had so much fun and enjoyed laughing when the adults had to run around blindfolded and when we had to scoop marbles out of ice cold water with our toes! At night some of us slept in tents because the house was too full but I enjoyed that- especially when the cows and chickens woke me up!
Well that's enough from me. I had a great holiday but am now ready for the last term before Christmas. I'm look forward to hearing stories from more of you.
On my holiday I went to the zoo to see my cousins who were here from Queensland on a school trip for a week. They said we could join them for the day. I also had my hair cut. Me and Rachel had a sleepover at Molly's & Ruby's house. On Monday I went to a fun day at Drummoyne Pool, it was free and lots of fun. Swim Club started. I went to dancing. We had friends over for a sleepover. We went to the park and swam in our pool. I went to Gabrielle's house for the day with other friends. Me and Stephanie organised and ran Lily's 5th Birthday Party with 17 children. I went bike riding whith my sisters. I enjoyed my holiday
I went to yamba for 3 weeks my favourite part was the last 3 days because the tuites came up the first day they came up they came to our unit and we went to the pool and spa. my family and i were going to go to the pub but we ended up going to an indian restaurant with the tuites. Emma,Ben tuite,Ben rigby,James and i had butter chicken and Nam bread. Emma and i made a chatterbox we put dares in that were funny to us but was embarrassing to everyone else.(they didn't do the funny ones). we left at about 11 pm. the next day we went to main beach. at night time we went to the tuites unit and then walked with them to their friends that live up there the spooners. their were jess and jack spooner and then their god brother the parents went out to dinner. when we got their we went on the trampoline. after we went on the trampoline we played murder in the dark. then jess emma and i went upstairs and watched t.v. then we went downstairs and watched the boys play buzz. the parents got home at about 11 pm. the next day was our last day. my family the tuites and i went to back beach at angourie. we went in the water their was a rip so we had to move over so wouldn't go in it. later we went to slow foods i got a egg and bacon roll it also had salad on it. when we finished eating we went to the blue and green pool. first we went to the blue pool the kids and i jumped off the highest cliff on it. the water is about 50 to 60 feet deep. then we went to the green pool which is probably 60 to 70 feet deep. the green pool has a chalk line death line and tree line death line is where you have to jump over a tree. the kids and i didn't jump off any of them we just jumped from a low height. their were some older boys there which jumped off chalk line. then we went back to our unit had dinner and went to bed. the next day we left yamba.
In the holidays I went to Victoria. I had a great time. I was there from Friday (the last day of school)to the Saturday before the last week of the holidays.On Sunday we unpacked, washed and rested.
On Monday I went to a CSIRO day with Andrew.For lunch we had pizza.I had a great time.On Friday I had a play at Andrew's house. We played Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Wii.
On Saturday night I went to the Zone 2/7 Carnival for RSl clubs at Botany Bay. It went from 6:30pm - 10:30pm. On Sunday morning I participated in races for my RSl club.
We left Sydney at 5am and arrived at Lakes Entrance (Victoria) at 5:30pm.
In Victoria we visted Wilsons Promontory, Phillip Island, Seal Rocks, Sorrento, Portsea, Queenslciff, Port Campbell, Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, The Arch, Warnambool, Port Fairy, Ballarat, Eureka, Sovereign Hill, Bendigo, Echuca and the Murray River.
One of my happiest moments was when I saw the penguins come ashore at Phillip Island.
I had one of the best times of my life because I visited so may wonderful places that are so different to New South Wales.
I mostley stayed home relaxing but I sometimes went out with my family.when I was bored I played outside,play my nintendoDS and did some reading.Jessica.n
In the holidays I went to Mooloolaba. When we were in Mooloolaba we spent lots of time at the beach and swam in the swimming pool in our hotel. The hotel had a roof top spa with a neat view. We went to Underworld World which was a aquarium, we went to a seal show and saw lots of fish. We also went to Aussie World which is a fun park, which has lots of rides. My favourite ride was The Wild Mouse which is the same one at Luna Park. I wish I could be on holidays forever.
In the holidays I went to the movies to watch up but before when we watch it my mum got some food to watch in the cinemas.After when we wathed up we went home and we played on are games but not all afternoon.
My Holiday in Melbourne During my school holidays I, my sister Maddi, my cousin Siena and my Aunty Kali flew to Melbourne.My yiayia and papou live there. I visit them three times a year.
Aunty Kali took us to the movies the first week we were there. We saw G force 3D. It was action packed and very good. I enjoyed it.It was very boring at papou's house because it was a house with no toys, so my aunty Kali took us bowling. It was on a Wednesday. I, my sister and my Aunty played one game. My score was 89.
In the holidays i went to the buffet with my aunties my sister's godmother and my sister.When we finished our dinner we went to the video stall to get a video to watch.Ten we went to my aunties place and watched the movie together and after we watched the movie my sister's godmother my sister and my auntie had to go but my sister could sleepover if she wanted to but she slept at home instead.When everyone left i was still at my aunties place because i wanted to sleepover.Then in the morning i had bacon and egg for breakfeast but after that my auntie had to go to a wedding so she dropped me off at home and i played a bit on the computer then i got off.
first i went to claudia's house. Then we played a little bit. After that we went to the movies to see imagin that. It was relly good. It had the girl from game plan and the boy from rush hour in it.It was about how the girl from game plan always had a blanket and brang it to school and was petending that she had two friend prinnceses and always talked to them . then the dad always told her not to so she could have fun at school and not always talking to the princeses. Then when the movie finished we went to the sushi train. When we had finished at the sushi train we went back to claudia's house and me simone and claudia had a play.
In the holidays I went to Canberra. While I was in Canberra I went to a pantomime. The pantomime was Puss in Boots. A pantomime is a show were they get you to call out things.
The 2 main characters were Puss and TJ. A few of the other characters were the 3 little cats, Snickers, Yowie and Kit Kat. The others were Pepi the princess and the Dame.
Puss in Boots went on for a long time but it was fantastic.I had a few favourite characters They were Kit Kat, TJ and Puss.
I went to Coffs Harbour with Joseph,his family and my family as well.We lived near the beach also we had a pool and a spa me and Joseph shared a room we had bunk beds. by James.J
During my holiday break I caught up with my friends and family. We didn't go away, but we had a great time at home. I was always very busy. I went to a Science Questacon which was great, they showed us a few experiments to do with bubbles and sound. Mum took me and my sister Julia shopping and bought us 6 pairs of shoes each...I think they will do us for a while. I also played some board games, monopoly is my favourite board game. We also saw the movie "Up". I really enjoyed it. But most of all, I missed all my friends from school, and was looking forward to catching up with those whom I didn't get to see over the holiday break. I can't wait till the next holidays...because I will be spending most of my time in the pool.
In the holidays jonathan had a sleepover at my house. we had fish and chips for dinner and then we played guns.Jonathan brote his gun so we were even.Afterthat we got in our pjs cleaned our teeth and then went to bed.when we went to bed westayed up late and played battle ship.
Hi Year 3 On the holidays I went to Allesio's house for a play.After that I went to the soccer it was Australia vs Holland.The next day my cousin Samuel came over for a sleepover. The next day we went to the park to play soccer we won 4-3. Then Bronson, Ethan and I went to the pool for a play.The next day I went go karting and Lazer tag with some friends.
In the holidays I went to Melbourne with my grandparents and 1 of my cousins.On the first day we went to my cousins house and we played play station but I did not want to play it after a while so I started playing the drums.Then my granny came to pick me up and we went home and I had dinner and watched some tv and went to bed.
In the holidays I went to Kooindah Waters which is a resort at the Central Coast. At the resort we played tennis, went in the pool seven times, went in the sauna and even the spa and we did gym. On the last day Mum and Dad played golf and me, my sister and my brother drove the golf carts around the course. It was the funnest holiday ever!!
I had a great 2 weeks off school.I went to the movies and Ryde Aquatic Centre. Then I went away to Avoca Beach with my family.We had so much fun and spent time with my cousins and grandparents.At the end of the 2nd week ,I did tennis camp at Haberfield with my sister Hannah and we both won a prize.I started nippers the last Sunday of the holidays.The water is still pretty cold but you get used to it after you have been out in it for a while.I love going out on the boards the best. on the holidays i went to South West Rocks and i went to the beach every day,i had all of my cosins there so i had lots of fun.when we went to the beach it was warm all the time so it was good.we had a great unit with a good view my favorit night was when we went to a mexican restront and we were the most biggest family there. i had lots of fun madison.w
In the holidays I went do laser skermish with John-Paul and Conor we went on a tram. When we got there we had to put all of our gear on.Then we went in the arena and started playing I hid behind a barrel the whole time and kept on shooting people.Then we got out and we looked at the score board our team came third out of five teams and I came twenty-third. After that we played bowling and my sister came first my brother came second Conor came third I came fourth and John-Paul came fifth. Finally we had lunch and went back on the tram home.
In the holidays I went to Claudia's cousins house with Claudia. Claudia picked me up and we drove there. When we got there we watched a movie and Claudia's cousin, Anna painted our nails. Then we went outside to play with Makayla their Turtle. After That we went down to the Olive Kitchen to get some food.(But we didn't eat there because we hated the food) So we went to Trovatinos instead to get a bacan and egg roll. It was yum! Then Claudia dropped me off at home. I had a great day.
In the holidays I went to Luna Park. My favourite ride was the Wild Mouse. Also my friend came from Perth to have her B`day. I got to stay up really late to make a painting for her.
I started at home and i went on a ship to circilar quay and walked to chinatown.I went on a bus to the big daddy marcets and had some japanese noodles.After a while I had a stomachache and I felt like vomiting but i didn't vomit so we went on a bus instead.Soon we went to darling harbour and went on a ship home.I was still quite sick so I went to bed very early.I was feeling better in the evening so I was strong again to go to dinner.Finally I went to bed
In the holidays I went to the movies to see up with my pa! After that we had lunch at the food court. I also went camping with some other friends. My mum gave us 10$ to speng for the whole 5 days. When we left the camp ground I felt sad and exited at the same time. 4 days after that My family and some other family friends went to a place called teddy bears pitnic! Teddy bears pitnic is a family fun place which raises money for charity. I got this weard teddy bear. After 3 rides my dad said "time for lunch". We had HOLLYWOOD. After we had lunch we got better and homes and garden signeture, home and aways singeture and neighbours singneture. We left about a minute after all the signetures we got. THAT WAS THE BEST HOLIDAYS OF MY LIFE!
On the first week of the holidays I went to my Nanny and Poppy's in Nowra. I got to ride and pat the horse , see chickens, play with dogs and hold baby chicks. On the last day that I was there I went to my cousin's birthday party. My cousin, Molly turned three but the older kids like my brother and I played on the Wii and versed each other on Wii sports. Then our other grandmother picked us from Nanny and Poppy's house. On the way we stopped for a snack which I thought was delicious. After we had all finished we went on with the road trip. When we arrived back it was late so we went to bed. The next day I went to the Orange Grove Markets for half the day and then we went to Flower Power. The next day I played at Brett Park. On Tuesday I made cookies for my brother at then before I new it I was off to bed. On Wednesday I had a cake decorating class which was fun. On Thursday I went to Vaucluse House and we got to see the original house and gardens and we got to make damper, butter and lemonade. I loved the holidays. elysia.t
I just came back from Thailand, Phuket, on Halloween, in the morning. I had a great time and as some other friends I know were already there, I made heaps of new friends called Taymin, Ellie and Allie (who are sisters), Jasmine and Tani. I had two friends that were already there and their and they are called Lauryn who is 8 and cute little Ava who is 3. I stayed for 10 days and had a great time. Lauryn and Ava were already there for 5 days and then I came and we had 5 days together and then they left and I had 5 days with the other friends. Did you know that Thailand is closer to the equator so it is much much hotter, and did you know that Thailand is 4 hours behind us so if you were all at school at 9:00, I would only be asleep because it would be 5:00 in the morning for me. I will talk more at school and write a little story about it.
On the first week of the hoildays I went to a picnic with a couple of friends.The next day I went to bondi with my good friend Harrison and his family.While I was at bondi Harrison and I went to builder bear.After that Harrison had a sleepover.On wednesday I did yoga with Isabella and Abbey.After that we all went bowling.On Thursday I went to a putt putt party it was fun.On friday I flew to canberra to see my family.When I was there a friend and I went to see G-force. In the holidays i had my b'day.I went to see up with my godmuther. DANIEL was going to cume but my mun said "NO".after the move we ghad maces.at lunch I got a ebgames vacher.when we got home the famely come over for cake.I got $83 doles.
In the holidays I went rock-climbing and ice-skating. That was lots of fun! I did lots of yoga with Abbey and Annabelle on Wednesday. I also went bowling with my dad and my brother-Dad came first, I came second and Lucca came last. That was also heaps of fun!
In the holidays for the first week I went to my grandma's at Wamberal. She lives very close to the beach but it was cold. We came back home for one night then drove to Coffs Harbour where my aunty lives. When we got there it was night time. The next day I went to the beach. It was cold in the water but I still went in. On Tuesday we caught up with Joseph and James. Where they stayed it was a cool house and we got drenched by wave jumping. The next day my sister, brother and I were chefs and cooked a dinner party and watched a movie. On wednesday we saw a horse operation becuase my aunty is a vet. It was very intresting. Thursday my aunty had a day off so we went to the beach and explored an island. Then we had races and went to the movies and saw Up and then dinner at a Thai restaurant. In the morning i rode my ripstick while my mum packed as we had a long drive home.
On the term holidays I went to plaster painting with Adrianna Difranco from year 4 and my brothers and my Mum.We picked up Adrianna from her Grandmothers and drove to the city.When we got there my Mum needed a coffe so she got the coffe.Then we had got to the plaster painting shop.Then we picked our plaster paints and then my Mum Paid for them.I picked a flower , Adrianna painted a teddy bear money box ,My Mum painted spongebob sqare pantswith my brother and then painted them my older brother painted a money box scoccer ball.Then we had hot chips and then got our plaster paints and went home stfeani t
NSW Youth Sailing Championships – 2009 By Jessica T.
The 2009 NSW Youth Sailing Championships were held at Georges River Sailing Club on the October long weekend, Saturday Oct 3 through to Monday October 5, 2009. It was a big Regatta with many classes of boats ie Sabots (1-up and 2-ups), Lasers, Optimists, Manly Juniors, Flying 11s, Flying Ants, 29ers , 420s and Cherubs.
We sailed on a 2-up sabot called “Firebolt”. There were many challenges to overcome, for example, on Saturday it was gusting at 30 knots and on Sunday and Monday the breeze barely reached 10 knots.
On Saturday we sailed out on “Firebolt” and we lasted 25 minutes before we filled up and went back to shore, knowing that we had faced one of our challenges but still had many more to overcome.
On Sunday, there was no breeze but we still went out. All the competitors including us were drifting over to Botany Bay because of the strong current and tide. When the Start Boat realised that it was impossible to sail back to the start line we were all towed back to shore. All races were abandoned. So much for Sunday!
On the last day, the races were postponed for about 2 hours and then finally the breeze picked up. We went out on the water and sailed two races.Given that we were running out of time to run as many races as possible we had the sabot 1-up and 2-ups, Optimists,and Manly Juniors on the starting line at the same time. The sabot-2 ups and Manly Juniors were in the same division and in the first race we came first. In the second race we came second.
There were many competitive sailors who along with us were frustrated at times (waiting for the breeze…..) yet we all had fun and found it to be an entertaining regatta.
On the school holidays i whent my friends place for the day and made lots of jerrewy and bord games also papper FX then we went to dinner at a thai restiant and had lots of food to pick from then went home Stefani t
On the Tearm Holidays I went to My Nanny And Nannu's place we went to a gun shop for shoting animals but did not buy one then we went Lurlus and Doris farm Thats were my dog was born my dogs parents names are Jack and lucie she has also got brothers and sisters I can only remeber One of her brothers name wich is Scobby Then we went back home to nanny's and Nannu's house Stefani t
I took a week off school and my family went to Macmasters Beach. The weather was beautiful, I went to the beach every day. We fed Rosella's by hand on our verendah. We also took a trip to a Reptile park, where we learnt about how to treat snake and spider bites. We patted kangaroo's in a park. And we saw lots of other animals like crocodiles, snakes, lizards, turtles, birds...it was one of the hottest days while we were away. We had the best time ever, can't wait to visit again. Olivia. P
in the christmas holidays i went to huskison in the south coast and it was a three and a half our drive we went to the beach everyday and there was a beach and it was across the road from were we were staying.we went fishing with my dad and i caught a fish there was also people jumping of the walf.we went to a restront and grill your own food on some stone we rode the bikes on the long rtracks anmd we went to the hukison shops alot. we went to the reception everyday and bought lollies.we also went to a beach that was in the guines book of records for the whitest sand in the world. we also went to nowra and it is 20 minites away from werte we were staying. jessica.n
Hi friends. I'm up in Noosa with my family.We have been here a week now and another week to go.The beach is great and only a couple minutes walk to there from our house.We have a pool in our backyard.It has been hot and we have been doing lots of swimming.We found ducks swimming in our pool this morning!Last Monday we went to Australia zoo.Angus(my 3yrold brother) was soooo excited.He loves Steve Irwin.It was so good.I have read a great book "because of Winn Dixie".There is a movie too.Hope school is ok.Sorry Mr Farrelly i haven't done much work yet.See you all next week.Love Charlotte.

Me and Stephanie organised and ran Lily's 5th Birthday Party with 17 children. I went bike riding whith my sisters. I enjoyed my holiday

ReplyDeletemy favourite part was the last 3 days because the tuites came up
the first day they came up they came to our unit and we went to the pool
and spa. my family and i were going to go to the pub but we ended up going to an indian restaurant with the tuites. Emma,Ben tuite,Ben rigby,James and i had butter chicken and Nam bread. Emma and i made a chatterbox we put dares in that were funny to us but was embarrassing to
everyone else.(they didn't do the funny ones).
we left at about 11 pm.
the next day we went to main beach. at night time we went to the tuites unit and then walked with them to their friends that live up there the spooners. their were jess and jack spooner and then their god brother the parents went out to dinner. when we got their we went on the trampoline. after we went on the trampoline we played murder in the dark. then jess emma and i went upstairs and watched t.v. then we went downstairs and watched the boys play buzz. the parents got home at about 11 pm.
the next day was our last day.
my family the tuites and i went to back beach at angourie. we went in the water their was a rip so we had to move over so wouldn't go in it.
later we went to slow foods i got a egg and bacon roll it also had salad on it.
when we finished eating we went to the blue and green pool.
first we went to the blue pool the kids and i jumped off the highest cliff on it. the water is about 50 to 60 feet deep.
then we went to the green pool which is probably 60 to 70 feet deep.
the green pool has a chalk line death line and tree line death line is where you have to jump over a tree.
the kids and i didn't jump off any of them we just jumped from a low height.
their were some older boys there which jumped off chalk line.
then we went back to our unit had dinner and went to bed.
the next day we left yamba.

In the holidays I went to Victoria. I had a great time. I was there from Friday (the last day of school)to the Saturday before the last week of the holidays.On Sunday we unpacked, washed and rested.
ReplyDeleteOn Monday I went to a CSIRO day with Andrew.For lunch we had pizza.I had a great time.On Friday I had a play at Andrew's house. We played Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Wii.
On Saturday night I went to the Zone 2/7 Carnival for RSl clubs at Botany Bay. It went from 6:30pm - 10:30pm. On Sunday morning I participated in races for my RSl club.

In the holidays I went to Victoria.
ReplyDeleteWe left Sydney at 5am and arrived at Lakes Entrance (Victoria) at 5:30pm.
In Victoria we visted Wilsons Promontory, Phillip Island, Seal Rocks, Sorrento, Portsea, Queenslciff, Port Campbell, Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, The Arch, Warnambool, Port Fairy, Ballarat, Eureka, Sovereign Hill, Bendigo, Echuca and the Murray River.
One of my happiest moments was when I saw the penguins come ashore at Phillip Island.
I had one of the best times of my life because I visited so may wonderful places that are so different to New South Wales.

ReplyDeleteIn the holidays I went to Mooloolaba. When we were in Mooloolaba we spent lots of time at the beach and swam in the swimming pool in our hotel. The hotel had a roof top spa with a neat view.
ReplyDeleteWe went to Underworld World which was a aquarium, we went to a seal show and saw lots of fish.
We also went to Aussie World which is a fun park, which has lots of rides. My favourite ride was The Wild Mouse which is the same one at Luna Park.
I wish I could be on holidays forever.

Maddi, my cousin Siena and my Aunty Kali flew to Melbourne.My yiayia and papou live there. I visit them three times a year.
Aunty Kali took us to the movies the first week we were there. We saw G force 3D. It was action packed and very good. I enjoyed it.It was very boring at papou's house because it was a house with no toys, so my aunty Kali took us bowling. It was on a Wednesday. I, my sister and my Aunty played one game. My score was 89.
I enjoyed Melbourne.

In the holidays i went to the buffet with my aunties my sister's godmother and my sister.When we finished our dinner we went to the video stall to get a video to watch.Ten we went to my aunties place and watched the movie together and after we watched the movie my sister's godmother my sister and my auntie had to go but my sister could sleepover if she wanted to but she slept at home instead.When everyone left i was still at my aunties place because i wanted to sleepover.Then in the morning i had bacon and egg for breakfeast but after that my auntie had to go to a wedding so she dropped me off at home and i played a bit on the computer then i got off.

It had the girl from game plan and the boy from rush hour in it.It was about how the girl from game plan always had a blanket and brang it to school and was petending that she had two friend prinnceses and always talked to them . then the dad always told her not to so she could have fun at school and not always talking to the princeses. Then when the movie finished we went to the sushi train. When we had finished at the sushi train we went back to claudia's house and me simone and claudia had a play.

In the holidays I went to Canberra. While I was in Canberra I went to a pantomime. The pantomime was Puss in Boots. A pantomime is a show were they get you to call out things.

A few of the other characters were the 3 little cats, Snickers, Yowie and Kit Kat.
The others were Pepi the princess and the Dame.
Puss in Boots went on for a long time but it was fantastic.I had a few favourite characters They were Kit Kat, TJ and Puss.
I also went rock climbing in Canberra.

During my holiday break I caught up with my friends and family.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't go away, but we had a great time at home. I was always very busy.
I went to a Science Questacon which was great, they showed us a few experiments to do with bubbles and sound.
Mum took me and my sister Julia shopping and bought us 6 pairs of shoes each...I think they will do us for a while.
I also played some board games, monopoly is my favourite board game.
We also saw the movie "Up". I really enjoyed it.
But most of all, I missed all my friends from school, and was looking forward to catching up with those whom I didn't get to see over the holiday break.
I can't wait till the next holidays...because I will be spending most of my time in the pool.

In the holidays I went to Melbourne with my grandparents and 1 of my cousins.On the first day we went to my cousins house and we played play station but I did not want to play it after a while so I started playing the drums.Then my granny came to pick me up and we went home and I had dinner and watched some tv and went to bed.
ReplyDeleteIn the holidays I went to Kooindah Waters which is a resort at the Central Coast. At the resort we played tennis, went in the pool seven times, went in the sauna and even the spa and we did gym. On the last day Mum and Dad played golf and me, my sister and my brother drove the golf carts around the course. It was the funnest holiday ever!!

I had a great 2 weeks off school.I went to the movies and Ryde Aquatic Centre. Then I went away to Avoca Beach with my family.We had so much fun and spent time with my cousins and grandparents.At the end of the 2nd week ,I did tennis camp at Haberfield with my sister Hannah and we both won a prize.I started nippers the last Sunday of the holidays.The water is still pretty cold but you get used to it after you have been out in it for a while.I love going out on the boards the best. In the holidays I went do laser skermish with John-Paul and Conor we went on a tram. When we got there we had to put all of our gear on.Then we went in the arena and started playing I hid behind a barrel the whole time and kept on shooting people.Then we got out and we looked at the score board our team came third out of five teams and I came twenty-third. After that we played bowling and my sister came first my brother came second Conor came third I came fourth and John-Paul came fifth. Finally we had lunch and went back on the tram home.

ReplyDeleteClaudia picked me up and we drove there. When we got there we watched a movie and Claudia's cousin, Anna painted our nails. Then we went outside to play with Makayla their Turtle. After That we went down to the Olive Kitchen to get some food.(But we didn't eat there because we hated the food) So we went to Trovatinos instead to get a bacan and egg roll. It was yum! Then Claudia dropped me off at home. I had a great day.

In the holidays I went to the movies to see up with my pa! After that we had lunch at the food court. I also went camping with some other friends. My mum gave us 10$ to speng for the whole 5 days. When we left the camp ground I felt sad and exited at the same time. 4 days after that My family and some other family friends went to a place called teddy bears pitnic! Teddy bears pitnic is a family fun place which raises money for charity. I got this weard teddy bear. After 3 rides my dad said "time for lunch". We had HOLLYWOOD. After we had lunch we got better and homes and garden signeture, home and aways singeture and neighbours singneture. We left about a minute after all the signetures we got. THAT WAS THE BEST HOLIDAYS OF MY LIFE!
ReplyDeleteOn the first week of the holidays I went to my Nanny and Poppy's in Nowra. I got to ride and pat the horse , see chickens, play with dogs and hold baby chicks. On the last day that I was there I went to my cousin's birthday party. My cousin, Molly turned three but the older kids like my brother and I played on the Wii and versed each other on Wii sports. Then our other grandmother picked us from Nanny and Poppy's house. On the way we stopped for a snack which I thought was delicious. After we had all finished we went on with the road trip. When we arrived back it was late so we went to bed. The next day I went to the Orange Grove Markets for half the day and then we went to Flower Power. The next day I played at Brett Park. On Tuesday I made cookies for my brother at then before I new it I was off to bed. On Wednesday I had a cake decorating class which was fun. On Thursday I went to Vaucluse House and we got to see the original house and gardens and we got to make damper, butter and lemonade. I loved the holidays. elysia.t
ReplyDeleteI just came back from Thailand, Phuket, on Halloween, in the morning. I had a great time and as some other friends I know were already there, I made heaps of new friends called Taymin, Ellie and Allie (who are sisters), Jasmine and Tani. I had two friends that were already there and their and they are called Lauryn who is 8 and cute little Ava who is 3. I stayed for 10 days and had a great time. Lauryn and Ava were already there for 5 days and then I came and we had 5 days together and then they left and I had 5 days with the other friends. Did you know that Thailand is closer to the equator so it is much much hotter, and did you know that Thailand is 4 hours behind us so if you were all at school at 9:00, I would only be asleep because it would be 5:00 in the morning for me. I will talk more at school and write a little story about it.

In the holidays for the first week I went to my grandma's at Wamberal. She lives very close to the beach but it was cold. We came back home for one night then drove to Coffs Harbour where my aunty lives. When we got there it was night time. The next day I went to the beach. It was cold in the water but I still went in. On Tuesday we caught up with Joseph and James. Where they stayed it was a cool house and we got drenched by wave jumping. The next day my sister, brother and I were chefs and cooked a dinner party and watched a movie. On wednesday we saw a horse operation becuase my aunty is a vet. It was very intresting. Thursday my aunty had a day off so we went to the beach and explored an island. Then we had races and went to the movies and saw Up and then dinner at a Thai restaurant. In the morning i rode my ripstick while my mum packed as we had a long drive home.

On the term holidays I went to plaster painting with Adrianna Difranco from year 4 and my brothers and my Mum.We picked up Adrianna from her Grandmothers and drove to the city.When we got there my Mum needed a coffe so she got the coffe.Then we had got to the plaster painting shop.Then we picked our plaster paints and then my Mum Paid for them.I picked a flower , Adrianna painted a teddy bear money box ,My Mum painted spongebob sqare pantswith my brother and then painted them my older brother painted a money box scoccer ball.Then we had hot chips and then got our plaster paints and went home

NSW Youth Sailing Championships – 2009

The 2009 NSW Youth Sailing Championships were held at Georges River Sailing Club on the October long weekend, Saturday Oct 3 through to Monday October 5, 2009. It was a big Regatta with many classes of boats ie Sabots (1-up and 2-ups), Lasers, Optimists, Manly Juniors, Flying 11s, Flying Ants, 29ers , 420s and Cherubs.
We sailed on a 2-up sabot called “Firebolt”. There were many challenges to overcome, for example, on Saturday it was gusting at 30 knots and on Sunday and Monday the breeze barely reached 10 knots.
On Saturday we sailed out on “Firebolt” and we lasted 25 minutes before we filled up and went back to shore, knowing that we had faced one of our challenges but still had many more to overcome.
On Sunday, there was no breeze but we still went out. All the competitors including us were drifting over to Botany Bay because of the strong current and tide. When the Start Boat realised that it was impossible to sail back to the start line we were all towed back to shore. All races were abandoned. So much for Sunday!
On the last day, the races were postponed for about 2 hours and then finally the breeze picked up. We went out on the water and sailed two races.Given that we were running out of time to run as many races as possible we had the sabot 1-up and 2-ups, Optimists,and Manly Juniors on the starting line at the same time. The sabot-2 ups and Manly Juniors were in the same division and in the first race we came first. In the second race we came second.
There were many competitive sailors who along with us were frustrated at times (waiting for the breeze…..) yet we all had fun and found it to be an entertaining regatta.
On the school holidays i whent my friends place for the day and made lots of jerrewy and bord games also papper FX then we went to dinner at a thai restiant and had lots of food to pick from

I took a week off school and my family went to Macmasters Beach. The weather was beautiful, I went to the beach every day.
ReplyDeleteWe fed Rosella's by hand on our verendah.
We also took a trip to a Reptile park, where we learnt about how to treat snake and spider bites. We patted kangaroo's in a park. And we saw lots of other animals like crocodiles, snakes, lizards, turtles, birds...it was one of the hottest days while we were away.
We had the best time ever, can't wait to visit again.

in the christmas holidays i went to huskison in the south coast and it was a three and a half our drive we went to the beach everyday and there was a beach and it was across the road from were we were staying.we went fishing with my dad and i caught a fish there was also people jumping of the walf.we went to a restront and grill your own food on some stone

ReplyDeleteI'm up in Noosa with my family.We have been here a week now and another week to go.The beach is great and only a couple minutes walk to there from our house.We have a pool in our backyard.It has been hot and we have been doing lots of swimming.We found ducks swimming in our pool this morning!Last Monday we went to Australia zoo.Angus(my 3yrold brother) was soooo excited.He loves Steve Irwin.It was so good.I have read a great book "because of Winn Dixie".There is a movie too.Hope school is ok.Sorry Mr Farrelly i haven't done much work yet.See you all next week.Love Charlotte.
